While in Houston for the CERAWeek events, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met today with Alaskan Senator Lisa Murkowski, Chair of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

The Prime Minister and the Senator discussed a range of bilateral Canada-United States and Canada-Alaska issues, including our shared interests in trade and the environment, climate change, responsible energy and natural resources development, and Arctic collaboration.

Canada is the leading supplier of all forms of energy, including renewables to the United States.
